You Should Put an Ad at my Place

I’m Angie in the Thick of It and I’m “Homemaking One Mess at a Time.” This is a humorous blog on the DIY fringe.

Right now I am not selling ad space on my blog. I’m just writing. Is that ok with everybody? But I’m open for ad swapping with blogs of the same look/mindset/feel. Let’s share readers, eh?

If you’d like to put an ad at my place, email me at emailinthethickofit@gmail.com.

I do, however, entertain offers to review products and cool services that I think my readers would authentically appreciate hearing about. Email me if you’d like to chat about that possibility for your business/product/service.

Curious about who my readers are? Why they come here? What makes this blog a fun place to be? I was too, so I polled the people!

What a few readers anonymously offered:
“It’s your writing style I most love and your storytelling. And your goofball sense of humor. And the projects, but mostly because of the stories they generate. Love the way I feel like you and me are buds by the way you talk to me.”

“You are really funny so I enjoy reading it all of the time…seriously.”

“I just love how you can jazz up any ‘ole thing – from grinding wheat to cleaning up spilled paint…I love it all!”

“You’re really funny! I like that your projects are “on a budget” and can be done by us “normal” people.”

“This blog is highly entertaining and I enjoy that you don’t take yourself too seriously yet you touch on serious issues. And I love a good DIY project.”

“I love the stories, the personable writing style, the love of the family, and the inclination towards DIY projects. Also the commiseration over procrastination, weight, roadblocks, paint chipping off, etc.”

Email me for current blog traffic stats. I have no idea what they are but I’m sure I can find them if you make me.

The answer is money, power, and greed! Why are antidepressants provided out like aspirin producing extra addicted individuals and children?

I really like “excellent posts” and “skilled bloggers” and “money, power, and greed.” I also like spam comments. So much so that I don’t want to take the time to delete them.

Now everybody have a super fun day.
